VASTAMAN

 

 

VASTAMAN is Jamaica’s first SUPERHERO.

An hilarious blend of Bob Marley, Homer Simpson and a Marvel comic book superhero, VASTAMAN tells the tale of a young man coming to terms with extraordinary super powers after his untimely death.

Generally speaking, VASTAMAN the heathen is a product of his society.  The streets of Chocko Blocko are paved with hilarity, treachery, greed, deception and most importantly, a healthy dose of community spirit.

Despite being an academic flop, VASTAMAN soon gained his BA (Hons) degree in ‘Street Knowledge’. Armed with his cell phone, VASTAMAN conducts his business in his major subject ‘Make Money By Any Means Necessary’, for which he was later awarded with his very own five year prison sentence.

Death changes everyone, but rarely for the better. However after his untimely death, VASTAMAN is resurrected by the surreal MYSTIC DREAD.  Now VASTAMAN the heathen must share his life with his supernatural alter-ego RASTAMAN – who will come out on top is anyone’s guess!

VASTAMAN is not an “Urban Myth” but an “Internet-Urban-Reality” targeting anyone with a mobile phone or Internet connection.
