Who are we?
We are two highly creative specialists with over twenty years' hands-on industry experience. We can help you turn a basic idea into a living, screaming, drooling, laughing, silly, funny, scary, superhero character.
The visual design work in our gallery section, as well as the game and micro-sites, are a testimony to our skills. We know a great deal about:
- Character development
- Micro-sites
- Game development
- Viral marketing
- 3D modelling and animation
- Illustration and design
We take personal responsibility for the creative and all development aspects of every project we do. To enable us to offer a more cost effective and comprehensive service we collaborate with several development partners who, under our guidance, assist us with:
- 2D and 3D modelling and animation
- Game development for online and iPhone games
- Marketing services
We can therefore take on a single element in a larger project, such as concept designs for a character, and collaborate with your team, or we can take responsibility for an entire project.

What makes us different?
We are passionately convinced that the web offers all the opportunities, if properly exploited and funded, to offer a substantial return on investment for characters and character related products such as animation, games and micro-sites.
Our vision for characters is outlined in the diagram below. It represents a dynamic relationship between the development team, which includes you as our client, the character’s online community, the social media networks and the traditional licensing industry.

This approach places the web at the centre of promoting and exploiting character properties. This is in contrast to following the more traditional and often hugely expensive approach of establishing a property through retail and TV. Retail and TV have huge value but in today’s oversaturated market, where investment capital is hard to come by because of cautious investors, the web offers a different option.
Our approach offers the following:
- A phased approach which means cost and risk can be kept to a minimum while market acceptance of the idea is tested.
- No bottlenecks as experienced with retail and TV as the web offers unlimited retail space, exposure options and access.
- High flexibility in terms of the speed and direction of growth.
- Multi-channel promotional options
- Immediate international exposure and potential access to huge audiences.
- Detailed analysis of visitor profiles and demographics for targeted responses.
The key to our approach is fourfold:
- Build high value content such as animation, games and comics
- Employ new media technologies and existing networks of potential fans to distribute and promote this content with the purpose of attracting and building a loyal community.
- Commercialise key online community activities and content to ensure a good return on investment.
- Once the character has proven itself through market acceptance, exploit the character as a licensed property through traditional channels.
